MAAN – Ministry of Interior Students App

Project Scope

Plan of Scope

In collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, HBBS developed “MAAN”, a pioneering educational app designed to engage schoolchildren through interactive games while teaching them the core values of ethics, safety, and social responsibility.

The app tackles sensitive yet vital issues – from bullying, theft, and substance abuse to more critical concerns like harassment and child abuse; presented in an age-appropriate and approachable format for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. By turning complex social lessons into relatable scenarios, MAAN empowers children to recognize right from wrong, speak up when something is not okay, and foster a culture of awareness and empathy among peers.

This initiative stands as a significant step in combining technology with social responsibility, ensuring that important life lessons are not only taught but truly understood by the next generation.

A digital journey of learning and protection — empowering young minds to recognize values, make the right choices, and stand strong against harm.

Plan of Action

HBBS worked hand in hand with the Ministry of Interior to design an app that blends fun with purpose. By gamifying real-life scenarios, simplifying complex topics, and tailoring content to different age groups, we ensured the app remains engaging while carrying powerful lessons. Rigorous testing and fine-tuning guaranteed cultural relevance and ease of use, making the app both impactful and accessible to schools across Bahrain.

Conclusion

The MAAN app represents more than just a digital tool; it is a social initiative that bridges technology and responsibility. By presenting important lessons through engaging gameplay, the project equips children with the awareness and confidence to make ethical choices and protect themselves and others. HBBS is proud to have played a role in shaping this impactful initiative that nurtures values, safety, and empowerment in the leaders of tomorrow.
